Inventory of resources of meadows and wetlands, elaboration of technologies for their mastering and restrictions on use |
|
a) Draft concept for mastering the resources of wetlands The feasibility study is developed for profitable production of consumer goods from resources of meadows and wetlands: packaged turf paste, natural turf water, mixture for strengthening hair, sphagnum moss substrate, and a rinsing balm. To implement these findings, it is necessary to build a turf mine, to create a net of turf processing plants, and to renovate existing plants for processing sphagnum and other wetland resources. b) Recommendations for perspective mastering of resources of meadows and wetlands The recommendations describe characteristics of meadows and wetlands, their history, processes of formation of the sphagnum layer of wetlands, and sphagnum capacity. Quantitative assessment of reproductive and non-reproductive resources of wetlands is given. The reproductive resources are food resources (blueberries, cranberries, etc.), sphagnum moss, forage and medicinal resources. Non-reproductive resources are liquid and solid phases of turf. Norms of their harvesting and mining are given. Wetland soils and resources of meadows are described, and a most detailed description is given on their medicinal potential. |
