Elaboration of protection activities for rare species of animals in the GMFA

The taking of all species of animals, except rodents, should be restricted. The grounds for substantiation of taking quotas should be based on the data of the remaining populations and on the taking norms. The indicator for the condition of the populations should be the critical population density, and if the real population density is less than the critical one, the restrictions for taking should be introduced.

The areas are shown which should be protected, to provide ecological corridors and reproduction zones for animals. Certain measures are advised to conserve and improve the feeding base for animals and to ensure its access in unfavorable winter seasons.
