Development of the system for forest management ensuring the rational use and reproduction of forest resources without destruction of the protective functions of forests

Rational technologies of harvesting based on various felling and logging machinery adapted to the conditions of the Far East taiga and ensuring the observation of forestry and environmental requirements. The proposed techniques minimize the negative impact of harvesting upon the forest environment. They are the intermediate cuts: renovating (rejuvenation) cuts, reconstruction cuts, thinning, and complex cuts, applied where commercial cuts are not permissible.
