Interior and exterior timber market conjuncture for forest products of the MFGA |
| It is noted that the demand for forest products in the Japanese market has been reduced and it is far less than the supply now. It is recommended to reestablish special exporting institutions, to strengthen control over the quality of exported timber products, to conduct special sorting of round logs prior to shipment. The shipping cargoes should be smaller, about 1400-2000 m3, and the assortment of forest products in one ship should be minimized and approved by the buyer before freighting. |
