Informational activity, international and public relations

There is a special department for this activity in the GFMA. All the events and lines of activity in the GFMA are lighted in monthly informational leaflets, yearly bulletines (in Russian and English), booklets distributed among the partners of the GFMA and international consumers. Educational environmental workshops and English lessons on Ecology are being conducted in the Technical Center of the GFMA.

There are permanent mutual visitations of representatives of indigenous peoples of Canada and Russia, schoolchildren including. The GFMA is visited by various overseas delegations, businessmen and environmentalists of many countries - Canada, USA, Japan, China, etc. All they admired over beautiful landscapes of the GFMA, and noted wide opportunities for international tourism.

The Program “Ttraining Young Friends of Forest” implemented in the Gassinski forest school “Kartanga” established for forestry training of GFMA schoolchildren. The school is equipped with PC, TV-set and video techniques, collections of dried forest plants and stuffed animals. The school is a member of GLOBE MAIL and a participant in several CLOBE projects.
